
Ray Anderson: Athletics boost financial game
Ray Anderson is Arizona State University’s athletic director and university vice president. Before accepting the position in January 2014, Anderson was managing football operations for the NFL. At the Economic Club of Phoenix luncheon on Oct. 9, 2014, he discussed ASU’s challenge to boost sports revenues and fundraising and lower university subsidies for athletics.
Ray Anderson is Arizona State University’s athletic director and university vice president. Before accepting the position in January 2014, Anderson was managing football operations for the NFL and had served as vice president of the Atlanta Falcons. A Los Angeles native, Anderson holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Stanford and a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
