W. P. Carey internship program
Dean Ohad Kadan discusses how students can gain valuable learning and professional development experiences through the school's co-op program, which bridges the gap between internships and full-time positions.
In this story aired April 22, 2025, on Arizona Horizon:
We have a new internship program called co-op. A co-op is a middle ground between a short internship and a full-time position where students pause their undergraduate education for a semester and pursue a position with a company. Traditional internships are two months, and full-time positions are longer; corporations are looking for more meaningful experiences, meaningful ways to experience the students, learn about the students, and see if they want to offer a full-time position, and the co-op fills this gap.
