Outspoken with Bruce and Gaydos
An ASU economist discusses the current state of the U.S. economy.
In this radio segment aired Aug. 7, 2024, on KTAR News:
We do not have the excesses in the economy that we had then, but we have a ton of cash on the sidelines and in money market accounts… and we do not have the credit crunch and overhand of real estate that we had in 2008. Things are really in pretty good shape now.
– Dennis Hoffman, professor of economics and director of the Seidman Research Institute, ASU's Office of the University Economist, and the Center for Competitiveness and Prosperity
