2023's states with the highest job resignation rates
ASU experts say higher pay and more attractive working conditions are influencing turnover in the workplace.

If more employees are voluntarily quitting jobs today than ever before, this shift likely means that employees see an increased number of jobs, other than their current one, that can offer them higher pay and/or more attractive working conditions. Because the U.S. economy is experiencing the lowest rates of unemployment in 50 years, it is not surprising that employers are reporting record-high rates of turnover.
