Study finds US households, especially in rural areas, increasingly shop at dollar stores for food
An agribusiness expert explains the role dollar stores play in US communities.

Our results indicate that dollar stores are similar to other profit-seeking food retailers in that they are more likely to be located in areas where supermarkets exist and competition is high.
